What’s The Process?
Pre-production
This is where the creative direction is developed to answer the brief. Art direction, copywriting and strategy meet to create a roadmap towards the goals.
Production
Heads are down and the hours are put in to create the assets. Our designers and animators work together to produce beautiful moving imagery.
Post-production
The audio and finishing touches are added before prep for final delivery across web, social and events. We make sure best practices are adhered to to ensure everything runs smoothly.

The price of animation can vary wildly and is very much dependent on length and production values. For example, a 30 second 2D infographic will cost significantly less than a 2 minute photorealistic 3D character animation with full voice acting and an original score. However, our entry-level productions start at around £5,000 budget for a single video with typical projects being anywhere between £20,000-£50,000. A good way to think about animation is that it can often be more cost effective when compared to filming live action, especially when it comes to updating, adapting and expanding the scope.

Depending on the scope of the project it can take anywhere from 2 days to 6-8 weeks. There are three distinct phases; pre-production, production and post which covers everything from concept development, scriptwriting and storyboarding, through to animation, audio and publishing. We must also consider review times and approvals from stakeholders (which are often the biggest causes of delay). That being said, we can turn a social post around in a few days, whilst an opening video for an event can take 4 weeks.
